This is a list of major new features in Enswitch 3.4. It is not an exhaustive list; minor enhancements are too many to list. A full list of features is also available.

  • New plugins architecture to invoke third party AGI programs from Enswitch, with routing controlled from the web interface and SOAP API.
  • Optional support for Asterisk 1.8, with per-customer call parking ranges and more call spy features.
  • Optional support for the Digium fax driver for outbound faxes from the Enswitch web interface.
  • Notification-only voicemail.
  • Finer-grained control over which features are available to customers, including read-only access.
  • Logging of Enswitch events to the Asterisk Manager Interface.
  • The ability to limit peers to particular customers.
  • Routing of calls after being rejected by class of service.
  • Control of callerid privacy settings for telephones and SIP peers.
  • Answering machine detection for the bulk dialer.
  • More options for call history reporting.
  • Integration with CommerceBank of Australia's CommWeb credit card merchant gateway.
