This is a list of new features in Enswitch 3.12. It is not exhaustive; some enhancements are too minor to list. A full list of features is also available.
- Calls can be re-rated at a later time according to updated pricing.
- The receptionist control panel has been given a major facelift.
- Customers can create SIP addresses of the form <user>@<domain> for inbound calls. The calls can be routed to any PBX feature in the same way as calls to numbers. Inbound calls to SIP addresses are not billed.
- If using Enswitch voicemail, a link can be included in notification emails to delete the voicemail or fax on the server.
- Many PBX features can be copied with just a few mouse clicks.
- Many PBX features, and calls in the call history, can have notes attached.
- Each registration to a telephone shows the model.
- Hunt group and queue destination management is more powerful and flexible.
- Hunt group destinations have statistics reports, similar to the existing queue destination statistics.
- Hunt group availability can be enabled, disabled, and toggled via feature code, similar to queues.
- Music on hold files can be played in random order.
- Customer class of service exceptions can apply to internal calls.
- Call screening can play both the calling number and a pre-recorded message.
- Caller and time routes for numbers can be bulk changed.
- Time groups can be shared by the system owner, and can be active when none of their time periods are active, making it easier to configure night routing.
- Each inbound group can have a different currency for inbound calls.
- More flexible control of line numbers in provisioning templates.
- The same telephone line can be provisioned to multiple handsets.
- New provisioning templates for Yealink T41P, T42G, T46G, and W52P.
- Alerts can be imported/exported from/to a .csv file.
- New alerts for queue logout and queue missed calls.
- New people report on all users on the system.
- Invoices can show calls grouped by calling telephone line.
- New configuration setting to disable sending low balance emails to postpaid customers.
- Menus can be shown only to customers on a certain rate plan recursively.
- Which machines are in which region, and at which priority, can be quickly changed on a single page.
- Trace files record failed web logins, but no longer record all API or web requests.
- Optional logging to syslog.
- Busy lamps (BLF) no longer require the monitoring handset to be registered.
