Routes allow you to override which peers the system sends outbound calls to.

To add a routing exception

1. Log in to the Enswitch web interface.
2. Go to Commerce » Rate plans.
3. Click on the rate plan you wish to edit.
4. Click on the "Routes" link.
5. Click on the "New" button.
6. Fill in the following:
   • The called number or prefix of the called number.
   • Which media type(s) to match.
   • Optionally, a description.
   • Whether or not to allow calls to this number or prefix for this media type.
   • Which peers to route calls to. If the first peer fails, the backup is tried. If that fails, then the second backup is tried.
7. Click the "Save" button.
