An outbound group is a set of external numbers that are billed at the same rate. For example, if calls to UK land lines are all billed at the same rate, then "UK land lines" could be an outbound group. Groups can have multiple time chunks, which allows calls to the group to be billed at different rates at different times of the day and days of the week.
To add a new outbound group
- Log in to the Enswitch web interface.
- Go to System » Outbound groups.
- Click the "New" button.
- Enter the following:
- A name for the group.
- Optionally a description.
- How the group is shown on invoices, for example "National". If not set, the name is used.
- Whether the group counts towards the free minutes included in each rate plan.
- Click the "Save" button.
- Add other time chunks if you are charged different prices at different times of the day or days of the week. If two or more time chunks are active at any time, the one with the highest priority is used.
Once the group has been created, peers can have prices set for the group, and routes can be set to use it.
