Systems Engineer (promoted to Senior Systems Engineer in 2002). Responsible for installation of Voicerite and IBM products at IBM and customers' sites throughout Europe and the Americas. Working with a high degree of autonomy, was responsible for projects from start to finish. Worked in customer facing environments, liaising directly with customers' management and engineers; effectively being the public face of Voicerite to customers. In 2002 and 2003, was lead installation engineer on the largest IBM Websphere Voice Response and Unified Messaging project ever, for MCI. Working closely with IBM and MCI staff, installed Unified Messaging for over 2.4 million users on 6 highly available clusters supporting nearly 14,000 simultaneous calls. When not working on customer projects, was responsible for Voicerite UK's internal infrastructure, including:

Specialised in Information Engineering, including operating system design, microprocessor design, image processing, digital filters, and computer vision. In summer 1997 and summer 1998, was intern in Seagate Technology's research and development department. Developed software to control industrial machinery, carried out research on materials for tape read/write heads, and administered HP-UX servers.
