This is a list of new features in Enswitch 3.8. It is not exhaustive; some enhancements are too minor to list. A full list of features is also available.
- A customer and their sub-customers can share routing between features, callerids, etc. This allows the customer to be treated as one for telephony purposes, but have separate billing for each department.
- Invoicing generation has been completely re-written to use HTML templates.
- Invoice CDRs can be grouped by direction.

- Each number can have a different region, allowing granular control of which Asterisk machine handles which inbound call.
- Post-paid customers can be warned by email once their monthly spending reaches a set limit.

- The web interface destination selector has been redesigned, with a simpler, neater, and more flexible design.
- Whether passwords and PINs are shown on the web can be set for each role.
- Web menus links can contain variables for user authentication, allowing single sign-on with external websites.
- The make call API action has more options to control when the call is made and caller name sent.
- Rotation of log files is now handled with Enswitch.
- The user agent in SIP packets and the fax identifier can be rebranded.
- OpenSIPS 1.7.2 is used by default for new installations. Kamailio 3.1 and OpenSIPS 1.4 are available as options.
